Custom Furniture Order Agreement

Thank you for choosing Tru Furniture for your custom furniture needs. We are committed to providing you with high-quality products and exceptional service. To ensure transparency and mutual understanding, we kindly ask you to review the following terms regarding custom furniture orders.

Custom Order Process:
Many of the brands we carry, such as Flexsteel and Bassett, offer the opportunity for you to customize your furniture by selecting fabrics, finishes, and other design elements from our design center. We pride ourselves on helping you create the exact piece of furniture you desire. However, please be aware that once your fabric or design selection has been made and your order has been submitted, production of your custom piece will not begin until then. -
Production and Delivery Timeframes:
While we make every effort to provide accurate estimates for the production and delivery of your custom furniture, there are certain factors beyond our control that may cause delays. These factors may include but are not limited to fabric shortages, material supply disruptions, transportation delays, and other logistical challenges. We will communicate any known delays as soon as they arise and do everything within our capacity to expedite the process. -
Non-Cancellable Nature of Custom Orders:
Due to the unique nature of custom furniture, which is specifically tailored to your preferences, please understand that all custom orders are final once placed. Custom orders cannot be canceled or refunded, even in the event of a production or delivery delay. By placing a custom furniture order, you agree to accept and abide by this condition. -
Restocking Fee for Cancellations:
If, under extraordinary circumstances, you wish to cancel your custom order after it has been placed, a minimum restocking fee of 25% of the total order value will apply. This fee reflects the commitment of resources, materials, and labor specifically allocated to your custom piece. -
Commitment to Transparency and Communication:
We are dedicated to keeping you informed throughout the entire process. Should any unforeseen issues arise that affect the delivery timeframe, we will notify you promptly and work with you to find the best possible solution. However, please be aware that any production delays due to factors beyond our control do not entitle the customer to cancel the order without incurring the restocking fee mentioned above.
By placing a custom furniture order with Tru Furniture, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions. We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to deliver your custom furniture to your satisfaction.
